Crystal Bay Foods, Ashwaubenon, has acquired Rogge’s Sausage Inc. based in Ripon.

The acquisition comes as Jeff Rogge, the third-generation owner and grandson of the company’s founder, transitions into retirement.

Rogge’s Sausage has been serving Wisconsin and its neighboring states since 1938. Under Crystal Bay’s ownership, it will continue to provide its loyal customer base with high-quality seafood, deli meats, cheeses, entrees, salads, and sausage products. Crystal Bay will expand its offerings and bring beef, pork, and other meat products to Rogge’s customers.

“Rogge’s has been a part of my family for three generations, and serving our customers for so many years has been an honor. I’m grateful to see the company continue under Crystal Bay’s leadership, and their commitment to quality and personal service ensures that Rogge’s will remain a trusted name for years to come,” said Jeff Rogge.

All of Rogge’s employees will remain with the company. Rogge’s will be rebranded as Rogge’s Foods, LLC, and a new logo will be unveiled with a website, RoggesFoods.com, to be developed in the next few months.

“We recognize the responsibility that comes with acquiring a business with such a rich history,” said Todd Van Lannen, president and co-owner of Crystal Bay. “Our focus is on ensuring a seamless transition for employees, vendors, and customers alike, preserving the values that have made Rogge’s a trusted name for generations.”

Joel Van Lannen, co-owner of Crystal Bay, said, “We’re keeping this business in the state, retaining jobs, and ensuring our customers are able to enjoy and continue to provide the local families that support them with trusted products they know and love.”
