Dan Shea, chief operating officer of Shea Electric & Communications, LLC, is the recipient of the 2025 Donald G. Jones Leadership Alumni Award presented by the Fond du Lac Chamber of Commerce.
Named in honor of Donald G. Jones, the award recognizes alumni who have continued to exemplify leadership and civic responsibility long after they participated in the Leadership Fond du Lac County program.
Shea, a 2009 graduate of the Leadership Fond du Lac County program, has contributed by sharing his knowledge with Leadership Fond du Lac County participants and sponsoring Young Professionals events in Fond du Lac.
“I am humbled and honored to have received the Donald G. Jones Leadership Alumni Award,” Shea said. “Being a lifelong learner is one of the many things that Donald Jones and I have in common. Through talking with the Leadership Fond du Lac County participants and working with ACE Academy, I am able to help the next generation of leaders see the importance of staying curious and being a lifelong learner.”
Shea’s contributions extend beyond his professional achievements. He is actively involved in numerous community initiatives and nonprofit efforts throughout Oshkosh and Fond du Lac County including the Oshkosh and Fond du Lac Boys & Girls Clubs, Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts, Day By Day Warming Shelter, Envision Greater Fond du Lac and with his team, supports education through Fond du Lac High School’s Ace Academy.
