David Vander Bloomen has been named president and chief executive officer of the De Pere Chamber of Commerce.
Vander Bloomen was named interim president and CEO by the chamber’s executive committee and board of directors on April 1 and will be president and CEO effective Jan. 1.
“We are thrilled to officially welcome Dave as our full-time president and CEO. Dave’s passion for the success of the De Pere area business community and his strategic vision make him the perfect fit for this role. We are excited about the future of our chamber under Dave’s leadership,” said Board Chair Peter Froelich.
Vander Bloomen said, “I am honored to have the support of our Executive Committee and Board of Directors to continue growing the De Pere Chamber of Commerce.”
