Officials from Charlotte Pipe & Foundry, which owns Neenah Foundry, say they have purchased employee owned De Pere Foundry Inc.
De Pere Foundry has about 50 employees and produces gray and ductile iron castings ranging from 150 pounds to 50,000 pounds.
Charlotte Pipe & Foundry purchased Neenah Foundry in 2022 and earlier this year announced a strategic realignment. Under the updated structure, Charlotte Pipe and Foundry serves as the primary enterprise over three commercial divisions: Plumbing, Irrigation, and Infrastructure.
The newly established Infrastructure Division includes branded products from Neenah Foundry, US Foundry, and Bingham & Taylor. However, the company announced in May it would close the Bingham & Taylor Foundry in Culpeper, Virginia by the end of 2026.
