Employment Resource Group, Inc., Appleton, announced that it has merged Beneva Group, a recruiting and consulting firm serving the manufacturing sector headquartered in Indianapolis, into ERG’s organization.

With this merger, ERG expands its national search platform and multi-industry expertise with Beneva Group’s deep specialization in manufacturing and industrial markets. With an expertise in continuous improvement, supply chain and logistics, Beneva Group is a companion to ERG’s operations and production recruitment within manufacturing.

As part of the acquisition, Troy Wood, president and CEO of Beneva Group, will join ERG as executive vice president of manufacturing. Sharon Hulce will continue to serve as president and CEO of ERG.

“Manufacturing is a critical growth area for ERG, and Troy brings a level of industry insight and leadership that immediately strengthens our capabilities,” said Sharon Hulce, President and CEO of Employment Resource Group. “From our earliest conversations, it was clear that we share the same values around leadership, integrity, and long-term relationships. I have tremendous respect for what he has built at Beneva Group, and I’m excited to work alongside him as we expand our manufacturing presence with his expertise in continuous improvement, supply chain, and logistics searches. We are also excited to bring construction, healthcare administration, banking/credit union, non-profit, and C-suite function-based recruitment (HR, IT, Finance, Sales/Marketing, Operations etc.) to the offering. We are also excited to have an Indianapolis office.”

Beneva Group’s expertise will form the foundation of ERG’s expanded manufacturing practice, supported by ERG’s broader infrastructure, national reach, and operational resources.

“From the beginning, it was clear that ERG and Beneva shared the same approach to clients, candidates, and long-term partnerships,” said Wood. “Working with Sharon throughout this process reinforced my respect for her leadership and vision. She leads with clarity, integrity, and a genuine focus on people, which made this merger feel like a natural next step and a true partnership for our team and the clients we serve.”

ERG will maintain offices in both Appleton and Indianapolis serving clients nationwide.
