Progress Lakeshore is partnering with the UW-Green Bay Small Business Development Center to offer the Entrepreneurial Training Program from Sept. 17 through Nov. 12, with classes held Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Progress Lakeshore office in Manitowoc.
The Entrepreneurial Training Program provides participants with practical tools and guidance to evaluate business opportunities, understand their target market, build financial knowledge, and develop a business plan that can support startup, growth, and funding goals. The program is for individuals considering starting a business, existing business owners looking to strengthen operations, and entrepreneurs seeking to scale their companies.
Participants will learn how to:
· Identify opportunities and define their target market
· Understand business financials, including budgeting, contribution margin, and break-even analysis
· Develop a workbook that can serve as the foundation for a comprehensive business plan
· Connect with fellow entrepreneurs and small business support organizations
· Receive confidential one-on-one consulting and guidance
The program is available both in person and virtually. In-person participation is limited to 15 individuals.
