The latest episode of NEW Manufacturing Insights, a joint podcast of the Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance (NEWMA) and Insight on Manufacturing (IOM) magazine sponsored throughout the month of November by ICON Marketing, is now available for streaming and download.
New episodes will be posted on Thursdays at www.spreaker.com/show/new-manufacturing-insights, as well as through Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Google Podcasts and Amazon.
In the Nov. 30 episode, co-hosts Ann Franz of NEWMA and Kate Bruns of IOM spoke to Tonya Dittman and Holly Hampton of The Village Companies about how the Pulaski-based manufacturer has diversified, adapted and grown on both sides of the pandemic.
One of the company’s newest divisions is Maverick Hunting, which is the subject of a short feature in the November issue of Insight on Manufacturing. Dittman and Hampton talked about the growth of the hunting products sector, but also the common threads that bind the firm’s portfolio. A major thread is manufacturing products that bring joy to the world and pull families together.
“Our why is we really love harnessing our business as a powerful engine for good,” Dittman told the co-hosts on NEW Manufacturing Insights’ seventh episode. “We were born in a garage in Northeast Wisconsin by some amazing entrepreneurs who wanted to work together as a family. From the beginning, there’s been this desire to do good.”
