Essity, Neenah, donated more than 1,000 cases of essential hygiene products to The Salvation Army to support Wisconsin communities impacted by severe flooding in April, including residents in Marathon, Waupaca, Outagamie and Rock counties, as well as the Fox Cities.

The storms brought historic rainfall and flash flooding to parts of the state, displacing families, forcing business closures and leaving communities across the region still assessing the damage. In response, Essity donated supplies to support immediate relief and ongoing recovery efforts.

The donation included paper towels, gloves and other hygiene products distributed to local relief centers across the Fox Cities and surrounding region. The supplies supported both residents impacted by the flooding and the organizations leading response and recovery efforts on the ground.

“As a company rooted in these communities, it’s important that we show up when it matters most,” said Nick Ruof, Essity Neenah site manager. “Donating these products is a simple but important way we can help families through a difficult time and support the organizations leading recovery efforts.”

The Salvation Army serves tens of thousands of people across the region through a wide range of programs, including emergency assistance, food distribution, shelter services, rehabilitation and spiritual care. Essity’s donation supports these efforts by helping ensure access to safe, clean and hygienic spaces as families begin to rebuild.
