Foundations Health & Wholeness announced the nominees for the 18th annual Ethics in Action Honors, taking place Oct. 23 in Green Bay. The event recognizes individuals who are making a meaningful difference by creating healthier workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods in Brown County.

2025 Nominees Include:

  • Selena Darrow, Rooted In, Inc. — Founder of Rooted In, Selena is addressing food insecurity and health equity through a holistic, community-centered approach. She recently led efforts to rescue more than 6,600 pounds of surplus food during the NFL Draft, ensuring it nourished local families instead of going to waste.
  • Kasia Klaus, HER Alliance (formerly Awaken Wisconsin) — Kasia helped bring a survivor-centered model of support for sex trafficking victims to Green Bay. Since 2022, her organization has served more than 190 women and girls with therapy, housing, advocacy, and community-based healing.

Now in its 18th year, the Ethics in Action Honors is more than a community awards ceremony – it is a fundraiser that ensures access to mental health care for community members who are uninsured or underinsured. More than 40% of Foundations’ clients face financial barriers to care. Proceeds from the event directly support services that provide healing and hope.
