This free networking event with local family-owned businesses will be held Oct. 10, 4-6 p.m., at Café Aquila in Appleton. Learn about the new family business-focused peer groups forming in the area. Beverages and light hors d’oeuvres will be served. Register at go.wisc.edu/fbc-oct-social.
When the Family Undermines the Business: Understanding the Fredo Effect
Presented by Dr. Kim Eddleston, this interactive presentation will center on the “Fredo Effect,” which is based on the flawed middle brother from the movie “The Godfather” who became an impediment to the Corleone family business. The program is free to FBC members and sponsors. A $25 per person registration fee is required for non-members.
