Algoma is looking forward to the arrival of the Viking Polaris and Viking Octantis cruise ships and their passengers in 2026.
The cruise ships will moor offshore in Lake Michigan and cruise guests who choose to disembark will ferry to shore and enjoy excursions that include Algoma and the surrounding area. A number of local businesses are offering specials and activities for visitors according to the Algoma Chamber of Commerce. The community offers everything from self-guided tours to golf to charter fishing.
