What do you wish more people understood about your field or industry? Construction is truly a field with endless opportunities. The more passion, dedication, and skill you bring, the more you stand to gain—whether in personal growth, career advancement, or the satisfaction of seeing your work come to life. It’s an industry that rewards hard work and continuous learning.
Can you share one of the most significant challenges you’ve faced in your career and how you overcame it?
Being one of the youngest people in the room has always been a significant challenge for me. However, I’ve overcome it by staying open to learning and consistently putting in the effort to improve. Embracing growth and never shying away from hard work has helped me turn this challenge into an opportunity.
What advice would you give to others looking to make a difference in their communities?
Always speak your truth and express how you feel. Be passionate about what you believe in. When you’re authentic and driven by your values, it creates a stronger connection with others and a more meaningful impact.
What’s a failure or setback you experienced that ended up being a stepping stone to something greater?
I used to think that not attending college would be a setback, but the path I chose gave me a fresh perspective, important skills, and unique insights. My experience has taught me that there are many ways to achieve success, and sometimes the unconventional route can offer the most valuable lessons.
What legacy do you hope to leave, both in your career and in your community?
The legacy I hope to leave behind is that people enjoyed working with me. I want to be remembered as someone who was always there, willing to help, and as a leader who inspired others.
