Katie Bramschreiber, Director of Account Services for Element
Looking back, what personal experiences or milestones have had the greatest influence on your professional success?
I have been fortunate to have strong female supervisors in each role who supported me both personally and professionally, shaping my leadership style. Their guidance showed me the value of mentorship, work-life balance, and fostering a supportive team environment.
What has been the most rewarding part of your professional journey so far?
Hearing from my team that they feel supported-both professionally and personally has been incredibly rewarding for me. No matter what our ‘job’ is, creating a positive, team-oriented atmosphere where people feel valued is something I take pride in. I want everyone I work with to always feel that I was there to support them and always stayed true to my word.
What role do you think young leaders like yourself play in shaping the future of communities?
I am excited that our generation of leaders are figuring out, mapping out, and perfecting the hybrid work style. By prioritizing work-life balance, young leaders are helping create healthier, happier lives, which results in stronger communities and more successful businesses. When people feel fulfilled in their careers and personal lives, they contribute more positively to those around them.
What is one cause or issue that you’re especially passionate about, and why?
Supporting females and working moms in achieving balance. Being a leader at work and a mom at home isn’t easy. When workplaces and communities embrace flexibility and inclusivity, women are better able to thrive both professionally and personally. Empowering women to pursue their ambitions while also having the support they need at home and work isn’t just beneficial for them—it strengthens families, businesses, and communities.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Early in my career, a sales manager once told me, “Don’t get on the roller coaster.” It’s a reminder not to let the highs feel too high or the lows too low—staying steady and focused is key. Take everything in stride, learn from mistakes, celebrate wins, and continue to support the team around you.
