For the second year in a row, Insight will be honoring financial leaders in the New North region who are maintaining the health and stability of their organizations as it presents the 2024 CFO of the Year Awards. Industry leaders from throughout the New North will convene at Lambeau Field Dec. 3 to toast and network with the individuals driving business growth in our communities.
The awards program will feature a special celebration of the career of Mark Radue, who is retiring next February from Great Northern Corporation. Radue has provided steady leadership, strategic vision and management support for business initiatives at Great Northern. Mark was selected as Insight’s Lifetime Achievement Award recipient for his 36-year career in finance and accounting, which began with a degree in accounting/information systems from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Mark got his professional start at Arthur Andersen before moving into the CFO position for two Central Wisconsin companies in the flexographic packaging industry. Prior to Great Northern, Mark was a partner at Grant Thornton and, most recently, served as executive vice president and chief strategy officer for Oshkosh Corporation. We are excited to give special recognition to all of Mark’s achievements when we gather at Lambeau next month.
In addition to a presentation from Mark, each CFO of the Year award finalist will be recognized on stage, and winners in four categories will be unveiled for the first time that night. It will be an exciting evening — I sincerely hope you can attend.
Special thanks to presenting sponsor Miron Construction, along with major sponsors Appleton Airport, First Business Bank and McClone Insurance, for making our second CFO of the Year event possible. I hope to see you Dec. 3 as we celebrate Mark and the rest of this year’s finalists. To register, visit insightonbusiness.com/cfo.
