The Sustainable Business Council is launching the Green Bay Sustainable Business Accelerator to help small and mid-sized businesses in Green Bay strengthen their sustainability practices and contribute to community resilience.
Supported by a grant from the Daybreak Fund, SBC will offer a free, hands-on cohort program for up to 10 eligible businesses.
The six-month initiative will guide participants in understanding and improving environmental impacts, building strategic sustainability practices, and implementing nature-based solutions such as green stormwater infrastructure and habitat enhancements that reduce costs, manage risk and support community health.
Program highlights are:
- Six-session cohort (April–June 2026) held in Green Bay
- Expert coaching on strategic priority setting, energy and greenhouse gas management, waste reduction, water stewardship, and biodiversity
- Tools to measure and manage environmental impacts
- Support to plan and implement at least one nature-based solution aligned with the City’s
- Clean Energy Green Bay and Green Stormwater Infrastructure plans
- Free participation for selected businesses
Applications open through Jan. 30 and the cohort selection will be announced in February. Cohort sessions will run from April through June with implementation July through September.
