Green Lake Playground Pals reach $640K goal

The Playground Palsin Green Lake announced that the Playground Park Revamp has reached its full $640,000 fundraising goal.

The goal was met with broad community support and the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation’s fully met $25,000 matching challenge, including a major gift from the Nancy & Bruce Heydon Green Lake Community Fund.

The funds will help create an inclusive playground.

The campaign was led by five volunteer mothers (Amanda Castleberry, Kathy Grahn, Dawn Morgan, Rachel Nitz and Jill Williams). While the Playground Pals are formally stepping back, the fund will remain open.

Nearly $200,000 is secured for long-term maintenance, and future efforts may support additional park improvements.
