Involta, which operates a data center in the village of Harrison, is rebranding as “ark data centers.”
“The decision to relaunch as ark was driven by the insatiable growth of infrastructure requirements for space, power and compute options,” said Brett Lindsey, Chief Executive Officer of ark data centers.

The company also launched a new website, arkdna.com, which highlights the DNA of the business: d – data center infrastructure; n – network infrastructure; and a – the response to the surge of AI and automation.
The Carlyle-backed company announced in December it would expand a existing 24.5 acre campus in Harrison with up to 20 megawatts of capacity. Company officials said the investment would create its largest data center to date and was a response to the growing market for the services it can offer. The company’s colocation model provides mission-critical data center space to support the needs and performance requirements of high-tech industries with the colocation and services needed for enterprise workloads and AI applications. In addition, the location’s proximity is highly desirable for edge deployments, in which ark data centers is considered a tier-two market pioneer.
