Construction has started on a 9,700-square-foot bank and office for Johnson Financial Group on the northside of Appleton.
Bayland Buildings, Inc., in partnership with Redmond Company is constructing the building on Galaxy Drive.
Jim Popp, president and CEO of Johnson Financial Group, said its the fifth new facility in the last 12 months and reflects a strategic goal to be part of the communities it serves.
“We continue to reimagine the consumer branch experience because we care about providing a banking experience that is simple, safe, competent and personal,” said Popp.
There will be seating and refreshment areas as well as a state-of-the-art cash bar to provide quicker and more convenient service. There also will be offices for advisors who can focus on each client’s financial needs, a drive-up ATM, drive-thru and parking. The location is highly accessible off North Richmond Street just north of Interstate 41.
“Johnson Financial Group has proudly served northeastern Wisconsin for more than two decades and plans to continue growing here,” said regional president, Bruce Zak. He said the Fox Cities is a growth market with a robust team to serve.
The new office is set to be complete by the end of 2024.
