Local news about the companies, people and issues that impact business in Northeast Wisconsin and beyond.

Although it may go against our humble Midwestern nature, sometimes it’s a worthwhile endeavor to do a little boasting.

You’ve fostered a great business environment with great benefits, positive culture and rewarding opportunities. The best way to keep it going and attract new, diverse, top talent is to shout it from the rooftops: We’re one of the best places to work in Wisconsin!

This year, Insight is poised to help manufacturers from across the state do exactly that as we present our first-ever Wisconsin’s Best Places to Work in Manufacturing awards through a partnership with Workforce Research Group (WRG) and sponsorship support from Werner Electric Supply, Bayland Buildings and Executive Agenda.

Sign up at no cost by Feb. 2 for WRG, an unbiased third party, to administer an in-depth, anonymous questionnaire to your employees. No matter how the survey comes out, this exercise will result in valuable benchmarking data for your firm. And if your company gets glowing results, then you will be honored at our event July 17 at Lambeau Field as well as in the pages of Insight on Manufacturing magazine. Please remember, all data will be kept confidential and only the companies selected for recognition will have their names and stories shared publicly. (And we certainly know your HR and recruiting teams will be ready to share far and wide!)
