What is Wisconsin Startup week? What resources are available for startups? What companies are investing in startups? How can I get involved, even if I don’t want to start up my own company?

The Greater Green Bay Chamber’s, Urban Hub, will bring together two groups, the entrepreneur society from Northeast Wisconsin, and Women In Technology to better understand the world of startups and what is going on in Northeast Wisconsin to solve problems and start new business ventures. Also, hear from three local startups including their personal and professional journey to starting their own company and how you might be able to lend your expertise to help them grow and flourish. Last, there will be representatives from 2-3 Wisconsin based Venture Capital Funds ho will talk about how they choose investments, what they are looking for and what their portfolio’s comprise.

The free event Nov. 17 starts with networking from 7 to 7:20 a.m. followed by the speakers from 7:20 to 9 a.m. RSVP here.

Speakers include Matthew Kee of Tundra Angels, Andrew Schmitz of Gener8tor, Amy and Joshua Woods, founders of Favoryt Brand; Kelly Schwartz, founder of Fridge Jerky; Shane Achterberg of Schneider National and Blair Tritt of Schreiber Ventures.
