The UW-Oshkosh Fox Cities campus in Menasha is closing.
Outagamie County Executive Tom Nelson says he was notified of the decision by Universities of Wisconsin President Jay Rothman and UWO Chancellor Andrew Leavitt.
In a statement, Nelson said, “Leavitt and Rothman let down the students and families of UW Fox and betrayed their trust…”
The move follows the closure of the UW-Oshkosh Fond du Lac campus this spring and announcement of a restructuring at UWO to eliminate a structural deficit.
