Local investors, led by Paul Weaver, purchased the former Victorian Village and Shore Club resort properties on Elkhart Lake, according to Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation.
The property has been renamed as the Elkhart Lake Beach Resort.
The properties include: condos, indoor and outdoor pools, the Victorian guest house, which also serves as a retail and guest services property, the legendary Tiki Bar on the beach, pool and beach house, 600 feet of beach and other structures and land.
The ownership has been renovating the grounds and properties including lodging spaces, retail market area, Tiki Bar renovation, trees and plantings and signage improvements.
“We intend to revive the quality of the facilities, operations and guest and owner experience that has diminished over the last decade. This is a phenomenal lakefront resort property,” said Weaver.
The lodging and market will likely be open by Mid-May
The Tiki Bar and Watersports activities will be open on or before the Memorial Day weekend.
