The 2026 James Beard Award semifinalists include three from Northeast Wisconsin.
The James Beard Awards have represented the pinnacle of culinary recognition in the United States snce their inception in 1990.
Restaurant and Chef nominees will be announced March 31, and winners will be celebrated at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards Ceremony June 15 at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
Among those honored as semifinalists are:

- Outstanding bakery: Cultured, Sister Bay
- Outstanding Wine and other beverage program: Sway Brewing & Blending, Baileys Harbor
- Best Chef (Midwest): Adam Marty, Ellinor, Appleton
