Manitowoc Chamber presents annual awards

The Chamber of Manitowoc County held its Awards of Distinction Feb. 12 at the Capitol Civic Centre, Manitowoc.

“It was wonderful to gather as a community to celebrate the positive collaborations, inspiring individuals and business successes,” says Chamber Executive Director Abbey Quistorf. “Congratulations to all of the nominees and to the winners.”

The following awards were presented:

  • The Collaboration award winner was the Summer Food Program – a collaborative effort between the Boys & Girls Club of Manitowoc County, Grow it Forward, the YMCA, Southfield Learning Center and the Two Rivers Public School District. 
  • The 2025 Education Impact award winner was: Lainey Longmeyer, Manitowoc Public School District.
  • The Medium Business of the Year Award winner was: Shoreline Hometown Credit Union.
  • The Large Business of the Year Award winner was: Eck Industries.
  • The 2025 Non-Profit Organization of the Year Award winner was: Grow It Forward. 
  • The Small Business of the Year Award winner was: Mueller Wealth. 
  • The 2025 Young Professional of the Year Award winner was: Kali Hentges.
  • The 2025 Volunteer of the Year award was presented to Allyson Tebon, BayCare Clinic.
  • The 2025 Athena Award was presented to Mary Jo Stangel.
  • The 2025 Joseph P. Schmitt Award was presented to Tom Drill.
