The Wisconsin Indigenous Housing & Economic Development Corporation’s gathering is Sept. 29 with its third annual conference Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
The event at the Menominee Casino & Resort, will include a business pitch contest and Native-owned food trucks.
The pitch contest is open to enrolled tribal members living in Wisconsin and includes separate competitions for existing businesses and startup businesses. Sessions during the conference will focus on:
- Tribal Business Hubs
- State of the Nations
- Tribal Energy Projects
- HUD Housing
- USDA Programs
- Finances for Tribal Infrastructure
