Miller Electric Mfg. announced an $8.4 million expansion at its Precision Welding Solutions facility located at N822 Communication Drive in Appleton.
The project includes an approximately 17,400-square-foot addition and 7,500-square-foot renovation designed to support continued company growth. The expansion will add customer experience and office space, including a new customer demonstration lab, upgraded equipment and technology, improved employee amenities, and expanded parking and site
infrastructure.
The project will bring together approximately 30 existing team members currently located across multiple facilities and provide capacity to support additional new positions as customer demand continues to grow.
“This expansion represents an important investment in our future,” said Sharon Szafranski, EVP, Welding Segment. “It enables us to better serve our customers, support our employees, and continue growing our business in the years ahead.”
Construction will begin in September, with project completion targeted for July 31, 2027.
The investment reflects Miller’s continued commitment to Appleton and the broader Fox Cities community and follows on the company’s commitment to provide $1 million for recovery efforts after a tornado July 27.
