Construction companies are often measured by the steel and brick they leave behind. Yet, for Miron Construction Co., Inc., the true foundation of their legacy stretches far deeper. For more than a century, Miron has seamlessly woven philanthropy into its culture, inspiring employees to give back through their time, talents and treasure.

Time

Miron employees dedicate significant time to their communities, via the Miron Volunteer Program (MVP), which grants every full-time employee eight hours annually to volunteer. In 2024, Miron employees contributed nearly 700 hours through MVP, in addition to countless hours volunteered outside the program.

Miron actively supports Habitat for Humanity, with approximately 150 women from its Neenah, Menasha, and Wausau locations participating in recent Women Build projects, helping to provide safe and healthy homes for local families. Team members also volunteer at food pantries and local schools, as well as serve on nonprofit and industry boards, continually working to improve their communities.

Talent

Team Miron lives by the motto, “To whom much is given, much is expected,” a sentiment often conveyed by Miron’s executive chairman David G. Voss, Jr. Employees regularly share their talents with the community, notably through the annual Kids’ Christmas Party, which for nearly 20 years has provided local children with a memorable holiday filled with activities, gifts, delicious food and a visit from Santa.

The Fox Cities Marathon Presented by Miron Construction showcases Miron’s collaborative spirit, as employees work together to design and host an inspiring water station, cheering on runners and fostering community engagement.

Miron also supports local youth through its Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Wisconsin Workplace Mentoring Program, now in its second year. Miron employees serve as mentors to area students, sharing life lessons, providing opportunities and helping guide their growth.

Treasure

Miron’s collective commitment to the community is further illustrated through the company’s contribution of treasure. In 2024 alone, Miron donated more than $8 million in sponsorships and other gifts, demonstrating an unwavering dedication to supporting local causes and organizations. In addition, the company provided $1.5 million by way of in-kind construction services, lending expertise and resources to help build a stronger community.

Last year, this extraordinary giving benefited more than 260 nonprofit organizations across the regions where Miron operates, amplifying their impact in education, health, social services and community development. Monthly initiatives, such as jeans day collections, continue to engage team members in direct acts of generosity, raising thousands of dollars each year for local schools, charities and community initiatives.

Miron’s culture of giving, rooted in both financial support and hands-on service, has become a signature trait of the organization, shaping the lives of countless individuals and strengthening the communities they call home.
