The Mulva Cultural Center has announced the 2025 traveling exhibits
“Unofficial Galaxies” will open Jan. 25 and run through April 27. Star Wars fans will be treated to one of the largest private collections in the world. Some of the collection’s items include a life-sized Landspeeder, Princess Leia costume, Yoda prop and more. “Unofficial Galaxies” was produced by World Touring Exhibitions.
From May 17 to Sept. 7, 2025, the center wil hosting two hands-on exhibits. “Explore Your World” is designed to explore the role of mapping and navigation in everyday life. At the quest stations, visitors will solve puzzles and collect different parts of their own map. Highlights include a giant game of Battleship, piloting a virtual underwater robot to map the ocean and an AR sandbox that shows elevations in different colors. “Explore Your World” was created by Scitech in Perth, Australia and produced by Imagine Exhibitions, Inc.
“Top Secret: License to Spy” will introduce visitors to the science and technology of spy craft. When entering the exhibit, visitors will be given a scenario and six suspects. They will then gather intelligence throughout the exhibit, leading them through the secret world of spies. This exhibition was created by Scitech Discovery Centre, Perth, Australia and produced by Imagine Exhibitions, Inc.
Finally, visitors will be taken on a space adventure from Sept. 26, 2025, through Jan., 5, 2026, at “Life in Space.” This exhibit has different space artifacts, including a piece of the moon, simulators that will send visitors on a flight to the moon and a Multi-Axis Trainer that simulates an uncontrolled spin in microgravity. This exhibition was produced by World Touring Exhibitions.
“For our second year, we aimed to host exhibitions that are immersive, interactive and educational,” said Claudia Damiani, Director of Education. “Families are the cornerstone of the De Pere community, and we wanted to present a diverse array of topics that would engage and captivate every member of the family.”
The final exhibit of this year is “Sharks,” opening Oct. 5, with shark models, artifacts and information on almost 180 shark species “swimming” in an immersive environment.
