The Mulva Cultural Center in De Pere has filed a lawsuit in Brown County Circuit Court against Exhibits Development Group, St. Paul, for alleged failures to deliver exhibits in the first six months the center was open.

The lawsuit seeks $1.4 million from EDG and claims that the company was hired to provide four exhibits in 2023 and 2023 including Ladies and Gentlemen…The Beatles!, Evolution Dinosaur, The Bricktionary: The ultimate LEGO A-Z  and Sharks.

According to the suit, EDG had promised to include a 1965 Rolls-Royce Limousine owned by John Lennon in the Beatles exhibit and did not deliver it. The focus of a related Grammy’s exhibit was changed from Wisconsin artists to Latin Grammy winners, according to Mulva Center. EDG was paid $616,000 for the exhibits. In addition, the Evolution Dinosaur exhibit was not delivered and Mulva substituted Dino Safari: A Walk Thru Adventure after paying $375,000 for Evolution Dinosaur.

Mulva currently is exhibiting The Bricktionary: The ultimate LEGO A-Z. Sharks is scheduled to open in late September.
