Nature’s Way, announced the appointment of Scott Woodruff as its new chief executive officer.
Woodruff has worked in the supplement industry since the early 1990s. He joined Nature’s Way in 2001 as senior vice president of sales, marketing, and business development. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in merging Nature’s Way with Enzymatic Therapy.
As chief marketing officer, Woodruff was instrumental in expanding the company’s product portfolio and successfully launching Alive! at Walmart, marking entry into the mass market. He also shaped Nature’s Way Canada through the acquisition of Ascenta.
In 2018, Woodruff left Nature’s Way to become president and CEO of KD Nutra, where he led the company to become a leading expert in ultra-potent marine and plant-based Omega-3 nutritional lipids. Most recently, as CEO of Acumen Health Holdings, he solidified his reputation as a visionary leader in the dietary supplements sector.
“I am honored to return to Nature’s Way and look forward to working with the talented team to drive innovation and growth,” said Woodruff.
Nature’s Way was acquired in 2003 by Schwabe Group. Schwabe Group CEO Olaf Schwabe said, “Transparency, teamwork, accountability, and solution orientation are core values that Scott embodies. These values are perfectly aligned with our culture, and Scott’s familiarity with Nature’s Way’s product portfolio, brands, and many of its employees will enable him to take swift and decisive actions to refine our strategy for future growth.”
