Harold Berfiend was named chief financial officer for the Froedtert ThedaCare health system.
Berfiend will oversee all financial operations for the system, including financial strategy, budgeting, revenue cycle and long-term financial planning.
“Berfiend brings a strong track record of financial leadership and a deep understanding of the evolving health care landscape,” said Imra Andrabi, MD, president and CEO Froedtert ThedaCare.
Berfiend will oversee several teams in his new role including, Finance, Facilities, Revenue Cycle, Supply Chain and Managed Care

Mark Thompson, chief transformational investments and value integration officer for Froedtert ThedaCare, who has been serving as interim chief financial officer, will retire July 3.
