The Sheboygan Common Council will consider two development projects including a new hotel next week, according to WHBL.

Director of Planning and Development Taylor Zeinert presented final concept plans for the Luedke Apartments on the old Jakum Hall property, and for the Sheboygan Inn on the site of the Fountain Park Motor Inn at a Finance and Personnel Committee Meeting.

The Jakum Hall site plan calls for two, two-story buildings totaling 32 townhome-style apartments evenly divided into single and two-bedroom units. The Sheboygan Inn project will be a new Marriott Spring Garden Inn hotel, consisting of a 104-room hotel, a rooftop restaurant, and a 5,000 square-foot first-floor distillery with a distillery garden fronting North 8th Street.

The development agreement with Waterside Hospitality LLC was approved by the Finance and Personnel Committee on Monday.
