The 12th annual Wisconsin Tech Summit will take place March 17 in-person at Milwaukee’s American Family Field, home of the Milwaukee Brewers, in the stadium’s Club Level.
Derek Hyde, vice president of information technology for the National League club, will speak before lunch on innovation throughout the ballpark and the farm system, from parking to the fan experience to analytics.
Networking opportunities will include breakfast, lunch and closing reception in the X-Golf simulator at the ballpark. The reception will include access to golfing in the simulators.
Sixteen major firms, including several from Northeast Wisconsin, will be taking pre-scheduled meetings with entrepreneurs. Those companies are: Aurora Research Institute, Dairyland Power Cooperative, Faith Technologies Inc., gener8tor, Google Cloud, Isthmus Project, Kimberly-Clark, LiveX, Mayo Clinic, Microsoft, OEM Fabricators, Oshkosh Corp., Plexus Corp., Promega, Rockwell Automation and Versiti.
Representatives from emerging companies are pre-scheduled for the chance to meet with some of the major firms in short meetings in Club Level suites. The goal for companies of all sizes is to investigate possible strategic partnerships.
The attendees will include entrepreneurs, founders, major firm representatives, service providers, students, higher education, investors, economic development and more.
Back by popular demand is “Office Hours,” a series of small-group discussions at which entrepreneurs can discuss specific issues with experts and their peers. Scheduled are:
