If you know a company that’s doing innovative work — involving people, product, process or helping the planet — consider nominating it for the sixth annual Insight Innovation Awards.
Nominating is easy — just fill in the form, providing the company name, contact information, website and a brief explanation about why you think it is an innovation leader. Self-nominations are encouraged. Nominations are due Jan. 31.
The deadline to apply is Feb. 15. Winners will be announced at the annual THINC! event (Technology, Human Innovation & Networking Conference) on May 9.
The Insight Innovation Awards are designed to encourage innovation among businesses in Northeast Wisconsin that lead to breakthrough technologies, processes and/or company cultures and make an important, positive impact on companies, employees, customers, vendors, industries, communities and/or the environment.
Award winners will serve as examples of best practices in innovation that significantly improve the bottom line, grow the business, heighten employee morale, make a difference and can be considered leaders in their industry.
Nominees will receive a letter from Insight notifying them of their nomination and encouraging them to apply.
Eligibility: Any company based in the 18-county region of the New North that has been in business for at least one year as of Jan. 1, 2019, may apply. Companies may be headquartered outside of the region, but applicants must have leadership in Northeast Wisconsin.
The winners of the 2018 Insight Innovation Awards by category were: People – Faith Technologies Inc.; Planet – Fork Farms; Process – J. J. Keller & Associates; Product – Wooda; and Special Award for Entrepreneurial Grit – R2H Flavor Technology LLC.
