NeighborWorks Green Bay – with its collaborators Basic Needs Giving Partnership and The Canary Fund — is partnering with the Aspen Institute’s Weave: The Social Fabric Project to honor individuals and groups who are building trust, belonging, and connection in their Northeast Wisconsin communities.
More than 20 awardees will each receive $2,500 – $5,000 to support their work to foster connection.
Apply for a Weaver Award or nominate a person or group, and share this opportunity with your networks. Applications are open now until Aug. 31.
The awards are for individuals or community groups who create lasting relationships while working together to strengthen their community. Projects ultimately should focus on fostering relationships among participants, but can take many forms: from youth mentorship groups or neighborhood block parties to public art installations or community gardens.
Get more information, apply for an award, or recommend another community member or group at https://awards.weavers.org/en/newi/2026 by Aug. 31.
