Nominations are open through June 5 for the 15th annual NEWMA Excellence in Manufacturing/K-12 Partnerships Awards being held Oct. 27.
The event will spotlight best practices of manufacturing and education collaborations throughout northeast Wisconsin. The nomination form can be found at: https://forms.gle/14QXH5EXr6dLmJas8.
Please consider nominating a deserving school, educator, manufacturing company, community organization and manufacturer. You can also self-nominate. The schools that win will receive a $500 cash award from the NEW Manufacturing Alliance.

Education Award Categories:
Brighter Image – created a positive image of manufacturing
- Career Pathmaker – Administrator
- Career Pathmaker – Educator
- Career Pathmaker – Tech Ed Teacher
- Education Innovation – created an innovative approach to manufacturing career awareness
- Elementary Educator – K-6th grade teacher spotlighting manufacturing careers
- High School Core Subject Educator – Math/Science/English etc. teacher spotlighting manufacturing careers
- Higher Education – college staff engaging K-12 & manufacturing careers
Manufacturing:
- Brighter Image – created a positive image of manufacturing
- Educational Partnership – financial investment in K-12
- Leadership – company with strong engagement with K-12
- Visionary – a leader in engagement with K-12
- Youth Apprenticeship
- Manufacturing Mentor – an individual that works directly in a mentorship role with students
- K-12 Outreach Administrator – an individual that coordinates K-12 engagement
- Community Partnerships Award – a nonprofit organization spotlighting manufacturing careers
