Nominations are now open for Progress Lakeshore’s 15th Annual Excellence in Economic Development Awards Breakfast.
The awards are one of the ways Progress Lakeshore highlights the businesses and organizations strengthening the local economy.
Award Categories Include:
- Entrepreneurial Achievement Award: Recognizes an individual or emerging small business that has transformed ideas, products, and/or services into a successful, competitive business while positively impacting the community.
- Neighborhood Development Award: Honors innovative real estate development or adaptive reuse projects that strengthen neighborhoods and support economic vitality.
- Corporate Investment Award: Recognizes a business that has made a significant capital investment, invested in its workforce, and demonstrated innovation to adapt to changing market demands.
- Community Enhancement Award: Honors a business or organization that has improved the quality of life through projects and initiatives that make Manitowoc County a more attractive place to live and work.
- Economic Accelerator of the Year Award: Celebrates an individual or organization that has played a key leadership role in advancing economic development in Manitowoc County.
