Nonprofit leadership conference set for April 3 at Lambeau Field

UW-Green Bay encourages the region’s nonprofit staff, executives, board members and notable leaders, consultants and advisors to flourish by gathering for the second annual nonprofit conference “Plant-Cultivate-Bloom” on April 3 at Lambeau Field.

The conference will take begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. Registration for the event is open.

The keynote speaker will be Eloiza Altoro, principal consultant of Mind Redesign Consulting, who will address attendees about “Leading Authentically: Staying True to Your North Star.” Altoro has over 30 years of experience working for and with professional associations and nonprofit organizations. She will address the myths and realities of authentic leadership and provide tools, activities and strategies to become more authentic, mindful leaders.

Recognizing the different needs, there will be multiple sessions throughout the day with presentations specific to all nonprofit staff—from entry level to executive.

The day of the conference will end with a closing session “Generative AI for Nonprofits,” which will dive into AI best practices, tips and tricks and hands-on applications. The session will spark curiosity and boost confidence in utilizing AI for fundraising and grant writing.
