North Town offering tours of Sheboygan development

Welcome to North Town will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Aug. 29 in Sheboygan to showcase the newest development from North Town Partners.

The main focus will be the 83 apartments of the Adeline building which already has residents moving in. It is located off North 40th Street.

Guests will  can take guided tours of the move-in ready apartments. Over 35% of the south complex units (one-, two-, and three-bedrooms) are already leased. There is a limited offer of one free month of rent with a 12-month lease.

The north complex, Charlotte, which will have 87 apartments on floors two through four, is under construction with a December 2024 target for occupancy. The 16,000-square-foot ground floor retail space of that north complex is entirely leased by Golf 365 and Rise Fitness, both expected to open early 2025.

Complimentary entertainment during the Welcome to North Town event will be the Milwaukee-based rock group The 3D Four, playing original and hit rock songs; and a performer who does amazing feats with fire. A mix of local food trucks will be on-site for food and beverage purchases. In addition, guests can see details for the fall 2024 and spring 2025 plans of the entire North Town Development.

“This will be a great celebration of all that has already been accomplished to date and what lies ahead for this collaboration between the Town of Sheboygan and North Town Partners,” said Chris Merklein, principal with North Town Partners. “We’re open for business with a thriving mix of residential, retail and commercial spaces.”

Early success has been the Home2 Suites by Hilton. This four-story, 93-room extended stay hotel has been open for a month.

The hub of the Welcome to North Town event will be the shared patio between the two apartment buildings. Attendees can use on-street parking; with overflow parking available in the town square.
