Nine Wisconsin golf courses are included in the top 100 rankings released Nov. 19 by golf.com. All of the courses are in the eastern half of the state and three of them are in Northeast Wisconsin.

Whistling Straits, Kohler, was ranked 10th. The Pete Dye designed course along the shore of Lake Michigan has hosted major tournaments including the 2021 Ridyer Cup and PGA Championships.

Lawsonia Links in Green Lake ranked 16th. Lawsonia has two courses Links and Woodland. The Links course has been consistently ranked in the top 100 by Golf.com, Golf Week and Golf Digest. In the past couple of years restoration work has been conducted to more closely reflect the original 1930 design.
