I’ve spent the last two-plus years at Insight interviewing a lot of business leaders and some consistent traits have emerged. A mindset that seems to be shared by many of the most successful is they believe that challenges are not just obstacles to overcome — they are opportunities to sharpen skills, rethink strategies and emerge stronger. No one holds this belief more than this month’s cover subject, Dr. Ashwani Bhatia, CEO of Green Bay’s BayCare Clinic.
I was extremely moved during my interview with Dr. Bhatia, who joined BayCare in 2019 just months before the COVID-19 pandemic. He spoke candidly about some of the incredible challenges — both personally and professionally — he has faced during his journey as an Indian immigrant, father to a child dealing with serious illness and a health care leader during a global pandemic.

This year our judges selected 14 financial professionals from across the region to recognize at the awards ceremony Dec. 3 in Green Bay. More than 200 attendees gathered at Lambeau Field for a celebratory evening including drinks, hors d’oeuvres and special recognition of lifetime achievement honoree Mark Radue.
