Oshkosh Defense will layoff 160 production workers starting in January.
The company, which employs about 3,500, said it was experiencing overstaffing in certain areas
The company reported a decrease of $52.8 million in sales for quarter three this year.
In a statement, company officials said, “This difficult decision was made only after careful consideration of all available options. Impacted team members will be provided with information, resources, and transition support to assist them during this process.”
