The Oshkosh Marriott Waterfront Hotel at 1 N. Main St. and its in-house restaurant, Anchor & Port, grand reopening is Sept. 18 from 2 to 6 p.m.
The property, purchased by Scarlett Hotel Group in February 2023, underwent a complete renovation and rebrand as the Oshkosh Marriott Waterfront Hotel. All guest rooms and public spaces were redesigned. The former pool area was transformed into Anchor & Port, featuring a spacious bar and great room, while the restaurant space was rebuilt on one level to create an open-concept dining experience. The M Club lounge was introduced to offer an exclusive experience for Marriott Bonvoy top-tier members. The hotel also added a new private waterfront dining space, the Lake Winnebago Room, and refreshed its private event spaces, including a ballroom now filled with natural light for weddings, meetings, and conferences.
The grand opening will begin with a ribbon cutting at 2 p.m., followed by self-guided tours, refreshments, prize drawings, and complimentary boat rides courtesy of Your Boat Club. Guests will also enjoy culinary creations from Executive Chef Loren Rue and his team.
