The second cohort of companies in a UW-Green Bay gBeta pre-accelerator include businesses pursuing drone food delivery, health and pet monitoring.
The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay has partnered with gener8tor to focus on early-stage companies working across all industries. The latest cohort kicked off April 23.
The free, seven-week, no-equity accelerator program provides startup founders with concierge coaching and programming, along with access to a large network of mentors, customers and investors. The program is designed to set a path for startups to participate in equity-based accelerator programs and investment opportunities, while building the startup density in northeastern Wisconsin.
The startup founders will host a panel discussion May 13 about their companies to investors, community partners, and the public at a welcome showcase event at the Phoenix Room in the University Union, 2430 Campus Court, Green Bay, WI 54311. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., event starts at 6 p.m. Guests can find more information and RSVP via this web page.
One company, Skybite, was founded by a UW-Green Bay student; four companies, Dulce Gracia, eBombo, WagVitals, and Still Syrups, came to Wisconsin through gener8tor and WEDC’s Accelerate Wisconsin initiative.
