NEW Manufacturing Insights, a joint podcast of the Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance (NEWMA) and Insight on Manufacturing (IOM) magazine sponsored by Wintrust Commercial Banking at Town Bank, N.A., unpacks the March Insight on Manufacturing technology feature about the need for blockchain adoption in manufacturing with Northeast Wisconsin Web 3.0 advocates Jim Dobinski of StellarBlue.ai and Bill Ritcey of Farm to Plate.

Not only did this week’s guests tell co-hosts Ann Franz and Kate Bruns more about the need for blockchain, but they also issued an urgent call for our region to pick up the pace in adopting a wide variety of Web 3.0 technologies.

“Web 3.0 is a whole universe that’s changing right now. Me and Bill have been talking about this for about two years now, about getting Web 3.0 in Northeast Wisconsin. We see Northeast Wisconsin right now as really a desert as far as 3.0 is concerned, and that’s concerning to us,” Dobinski said. “Our job right now is just to get the word out and go from there.”
