Port Green Bay has received the 2025 Robert J. Lewis Pacesetter Award from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation after increasing international cargo shipments through the St. Lawrence Seaway by 145% during the 2025 season.

It is the 17th Pacesetter Award for Port Green Bay.

The Robert J. Lewis Pacesetter Award recognizes U.S. Great Lakes ports that achieve significant increases in international cargo moving through the St. Lawrence Seaway. Port Green Bay was among nine ports honored this year. Together, the award recipients moved more than 4 million metric tons of international freight in 2025, representing 27% of all international cargo traveling through the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway System.

“We’re honored to receive this national recognition and proud to represent Northeast Wisconsin among the Great Lakes ports being recognized,” said Port Green Bay Director Dean Haen. “This award reflects the successful international business conducted by KK Integrated Logistics and U.S. Venture at Port Green Bay and the dedication of everyone who helps make our port successful.”
