Progress Lakeshore Executive Director Jamie Zastrow has been selected for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s Advisory Council on Small Business, Community and Economic Development, Agriculture and Labor. Zastrow will serve as part of the Council’s Small Business, Agriculture, and Labor Sub-Council.
Zastrow is one of five representatives from Wisconsin and the only one based in Northeast Wisconsin.
The Advisory Council is composed of a diverse group of leaders and experts representing a wide range of industries and communities across the heart of the Midwest. Council members provide critical insights to the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago leadership regarding current economic conditions and emerging trends within their sectors and communities. These perspectives help inform Fed leadership, who then contribute to national monetary policy decisions.
“I am honored to join the Advisory Council and contribute to conversations that impact our region and beyond,” said Zastrow. “Representing small business and economic development at this level is a unique opportunity to elevate the voices of the communities we serve here in Manitowoc County and across the Seventh District.”
