Public can attend Women’s Disc Golf Championship in Manitowoc

The 2025 PDGA United States Women’s Disc Golf Championship will break participation records when it is held June 19-22 in Manitowoc.

Spectator passes can be purchased for $15 per day or $50 for the full event at https://www.discoverwisc.com/category/all-products. There is a full schedule of related events as well.

The PDGA Major Championship was awarded to Manitowoc based on a competitive bid. There are a record number of registered competitors from six countries, including Finland, Estonia, New Zealand, Denmark, and Canada, and span a wide range of ages, from under 10 to over 80.

The 2025 USWDGC is anticipated to generate over $680,000 in local economic impact through tourism.

Manitowoc County boasts two courses ranked among the Top 100 in the world by UDisc in 2024:

  • Silver Creek Park: Manitowoc’s first disc golf course, featuring 36 holes, alternate basket placements, concrete tees, and a unique lighthouse basket.
  • Rollin Ridge Disc Golf Course (Currently UDisc #43 in the World): A privately owned course with a pro shop, players lounge, wrap-around deck, driving range, and campsites.

The tournament will also utilize Lower Cato Falls Park, which has been upgraded with new baskets and park amenities.

The USWDGC is known for its unique social events and community-building tmosphere. Planned activities include:

  • A Doubles Tournament
  • A Pro Player Panel Q&A at Petskull Brewery
  • Cosmic Bowling at Meadow Lanes West
  • A Beach Party
  • A Downtown Manitowoc Scavenger Hunt presented by Visit Manitowoc and TDS
  • An Ice Cream Social
  • A Disc Dye Clinic
  • A Player Flymart
