Delavan-based Kunes Auto & RV Group has acquired two Wisconsin RV dealers Quietwoods RV and Scenic RV, according to BizTimes Milwaukee.
The deal included the acquisition of all three of Quietwoods RV’s dealerships and both of Scenic RV’s dealerships. Together, Kunes now operates all of the companies’ locations in Sturgeon Bay, Fox Valley, Slinger, Wisconsin Dells and Janesville.
Kunes purchased Scenic RV’s Slinger dealership, located at 3155 Scenic Rd., for $1.1 million and Quietwoods RV’s Fox Valley dealership, located at 9042 Campers Way, Neenah, for $3 million, according to state records.
Quietwoods RV and Scenic RV will now be called Kunes Quietwoods RV and Kunes Scenic RV. All locations will retain their staff members, according to a press release.
“Quietwoods and Scenic RV have deep roots and respected reputations in their communities, and we’re proud to continue those legacies,” said Mike Coyle, chief operating officer of Kunes Auto & RV Group’s RV division. “Preserving the original company names and the entire staff of each organization was essential.”
