Reach Counseling, a sexual assault service provider in the Fox Valley, will host Utopia, a brand new event to raise awareness and support for sexual assault survivors, Oct. 12, at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center in Appleton.

The event will include dinner, entertainment, and the opportunity to learn more about the impact of the services that Reach provides in the Fox Valley region. The Presenting Sponsor for Utopia is the Fox River Foundation and the Sunlight Sponsors are U.S. Venture and Appleton Lathing Corporation.

In the fall of 2022, the Wisconsin Department of Justice awarded Reach a grant to expand its prevention education, counseling and advocacy programs to ensure accessible and quality services for all survivors across the tri-county area. Since this time, the organization’s service area has expanded from 170,924 to 407,758 Wisconsin residents. As a result, it has doubled the staff, going from one office in Neenah to adding a second office in Appleton.

Reach Counseling’s Executive Director, Kristen Trimberger said, “It has been many years since Reach Counseling hosted a large-scale fundraising event. Our team is thrilled to bring Utopia to our co helps to raise money to support healing services for survivors of sexual violence and create increased awareness of our vision, mission, and values.”
